The American Cafe Orchestra (ACO) is an international collaboration - the bandmates are from Seattle, Copenhagen, and Kisko, Finland - that began in the late 1980s. Drawing from their various backgrounds in traditional folk, punk rock, and classical music, they create original music on acoustic instruments that ranges from evocative to humorous, tender and lyrical to frightening.
